29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) Location: 48A Brook Street, Manchester, MA 01944 On or about 10/14/2014, employees were not protected from falling while using a ladder that did not extend at least three feet above the upper landing surface. The Chris Richard, dba C.R. Remodeling was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 978603, citation number 001, item number 03 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/21/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 156 Elm street, Marblehead, MA 01945.
