29 CFR 1910.134(k)(1): The employer did not provide effective, comprehensive, understandable, annual respirator training to employees who are required to use respirators: (a) ARK Woodworks Inc, at 878 Baseline Place, Brighton, CO: On and preceding 4/4/16, the employer did not provide effective, comprehensive, understandable, annual respirator training to employees who are required to use respirators. One employee sprayed Sherwin Williams Sher-Wood Water Conversion Varnish on millwork or other wood products. The employee was required to wear a 3M model 6001 half mask air purifying respirator with organic vapor cartridges and P100 filters. The employee had not received annual comprehensive respirator training. This condition potentially exposed the employee to a respiratory hazard.
