29 CFR 1910.147(d)(5)(i): All potentially hazardous stored or residual energy was not relieved, disconnected, restrained or otherwise rendered safe after the application of lockout or tagout devices to energy isolating devices: On August 6, 2015 and after, the employer failed to ensure employees performing maintenance, to include scheduled and unscheduled, on Charging Cranes 304, 305, Ladle Crane 307, Mold Handling Crane 310, Teeming Crane 314 and Steel plate Crane 315 verified no energy sources were present prior to beginning work. The TimkenSteel Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 971450, citation number 01, item number 004A and was affirmed as a final order on August 7, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 4511 Faircrest Ave. SW, Canton, OH 44706.
