29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use personal protective equipment: a) In Shop 3, on Aug. 4, 2014 and at times prior thereto; employees were not trained in the use of the personal fall protection equipment. b) In Shop 3, on Aug. 4, 2014 and at times prior thereto; employees were not trained in the use of PPE while welding inside of steel tanks being constructed, such as welding leathers ; welding hood / helmet; safety glasses, gloves appropriate for the task; hearing protection or air monitoring. Note: Abatement certification IS required for this item.
