29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i):Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve: a) On or about May 13, 2021, in the production area, employees using 3M 6000 respirators were storing the respirators in a manner that exposed them to extreme temperatures, sunlight and cement dust contamination. Sesco Cement, Corp was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.134(h)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1438195, citation number 4, item number 1 with respect to a workplace located at 8510 E, Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston TX, 77044 which ceased operations on 12/31/2020. Sesco Cement, Corp was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.134(h)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1209161, citation number 1, item number 2e and was affirmed as a final order on 2/7/18 with respect to a workplace located at 8510 E, Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston TX, 77044.
