29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer shall ensure that employees using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator pass an appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT): a) Bookcliff Gardens, LTD at 775 26 Road in Grand Junction, CO: On or about June 4, 2020 the employer did not ensure that employees using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed a qualitative fit test or quantitative fit test. Employees wear half face elastomeric respirators while spraying pesticides in a greenhouse. This condition exposed employees to respiratory hazards.
