29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(iv)(A): The review and update of the exposure control plan did not reflect changes in technology that eliminate or reduce exposure to bloodborne pathogens: a. On or about July 30, 2014, employees working as nurses and medical assistants were potentially exposed to bloodborne pathogens while assisting the physicians during bone marrow procedures, drawing blood, and during patient's oncology care and the employer's written Exposure Control Plan did not reflect innovations in procedure and technological developments changes in technology that eliminate or reduce exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
