Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 002B Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. On or about March 26, 2025, at 832 Jackson Street in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the employer did not provide required fall protection safety training for employees exposed to fall hazards greater than six feet while installing roofing materials on a two-story house. The Eagle Flight Roofing & Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1737389, citation number 1, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on May 9, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at N8892 Dublin Pass; Menasha, WI 54952.
