29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize hazards related to ladders and stairways. On or about: March 13, 2024 Location: 111 Tomkins Ave., Stony Point, NY 10980 a) Workers were using metal extension ladders to access the roof in an unsafe manner. Workers were not provided with ladder safety training. J.G. Home Improvements/Ren Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1060(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1705917, citation number 001, item number 001-c and was affirmed as a final order on 12/7/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 58 Hudson Terrace, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591.
