29 CFR 1910.147(d)(4)(i): Lockout or tagout devices were not affixed to each energy isolating device by authorized employees:(a) a. Worksite located at 2 Applegate Drive, Robbinsville Twp, NJ 08691: Workers were exposed to amputation hazards while they were doing cleaning work on the company?s machines without affixing locks to the energy isolating devices. Machines requiring lockout included, but were not limited to, the Taeheung Dough Press Rollers. Violation occurred on or about August 20, 2023. The CJ TMI Manufacturing America, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(d)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1568863, citation number 1, item number 003 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/5/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 2 Applegate Drive, Robbinsville Twp, NJ 08691. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
