29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step: At the commercial jobsite located in the KCI Max Building at 500 Reformatory Rd. Hutchinson, KS, employee(s) engaged in sprinkler installation services was exposed to fall hazards of approximately nine feet from the upper walking/working surface to the concrete floor below. The employees were using the top landing of the ladder to access the upper working surface. American Fire Sprinkler Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1638861, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/02/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 2601 Central Avenue Dodge City, KS 67801.
