29 CFR 1910.179(j)(2)(iv): Monthly inspections of hoist chains, with a certification record which includes the date of inspection, the signature of the person who performed the inspection and an identifier of the chain which was inspected, were not performed: On or about December 10, 2021, the employer failed to ensure both five [5] ton overhead hoist chains in the facility were inspected and documented. The cranes lift weight up to 1.5 ton daily and are used all throughout the day.
