29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, and uprights did not bear on base plates and mud sills or other adequate firm foundation: a) On or about July 26, 2018, the scaffolding that employees were working from did not bear on base plates. Polo Masonry Builders, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1207818, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on May 23, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2450 N. Clybourn Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60614. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
