29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: 70 Dryads Green, Northampton, MA: On or about October 25, 2023, the employer had not trained employees to recognize fall hazards and on the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards, prior to exposure to fall heights of approximately 23 feet during a residential construction project. Andrade Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1640163, citation number 1, item 2, and was affirmed as a final order on April 18, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 523 Laurel St., Longmeadow, MA 01106. Andrade Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1557134, citation number 1, item 4a, and was affirmed as a final order on February 9, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 168 Longmeadow St., Longmeadow, MA 01106.
