29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located, and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries. Building 13207 2nd floor northeast end tire storage area: On and/or before January 10, 2023, employee(s) were assigned to work in areas which had limited means of entry and exit (restricted access). The fire extinguisher was located on the wall across the north aisle behind a stack of tires and was not made readily accessible. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to fire hazard(s). Firestone Complete Auto Care was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1619984, citation number 1, item number 3, group letter a, and was affirmed as a final order on November 14, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 8510 Orion Place Columbus, OH 43240.
