29 CFR 1926.701(b): Reinforcing steel. All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and into which employees could fall, shall be guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a) 3320 East South 20th Street, Philadelphia, PA: The employer did not ensure that protruding reinforced steel was guarded from impalement hazards; thus exposing employees to impalement and, trip and fall hazards. Condition was observed on or about 5 SEP 2019. Solid Concrete Walls, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.652(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1371372, citation number 1, item number 2/a, and was affirmed as a final order on 30 JUL 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2120 East York Street, Philadelphia.
