Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 002A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures shall be developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section. a. On or about July 26, 2018, located in the foundry at the Hunter Mold Machine and its interconnected mold transfer conveyor, employees were exposed to machine caught-between hazards due to the employer not utilizing a procedure for employees performing servicing/maintenance activities. Sancast, Inc. a Subsidiary of Wabtec was previously cited for a violation of its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(4)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1163018, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on February 10, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 535 Clow Lane Coshocton, Ohio 43812.
