29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(iv): Valve protection caps, where cylinders were designed to accept caps, were not always in place, hand-tight, except when cylinders were in use or connected for use: a. Shredder Area/North Side: Compressed Oxygen gas cylinder not in use and stored without a valve protection cap, on or about 12/04/2015. b. Shredder Area/South Side: Compressed Oxygen gas cylinder not in use and stored without a valve protection cap, on or about 12/04/2015. c. Storage Cage/By Office: Compressed Oxygen gas cylinder not in use and stored without a valve protection cap, on or about 12/04/2015. Park Stein, Inc dba Parkway Iron and Metal Company Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314681529, citation number 1, item number 8 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/19/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 613-614 Route 46 East, Clifton NJ, 07015.
