29 CFR 1910.157(c)(4): Portable fire extinguishers were not kept in their designated places or maintained in a fully charged and operable condition when not being used: (a) Kitchen: A completely discharged fire extinguisher was on the floor instead on mounted in its designated location, exposing employees to delay in locating an operable fire extinguisher in the event of fire. (b) Engine bay: Two fire extinguishers were not mounted in their designated locations, exposing employees to delay in locating the fire extinguisher in the event of fire. The USDA Forest Service was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 957467, citation number 2, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on April 11, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 37560 Highway 79, Warner Springs, CA 92086 The USDA Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 911909, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on August 5, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 28104 Highway 18, Running Springs, CA 92383.
