29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section: (a) On or about 10/19/2013 - Jones Road/Well Road Sewer Project near Mill Creek Subdivision, Athens, AL, employees working in an excavation at 14 feet depth setting pre-cast manhole assembly, were not protected from cave-ins. Christopher Professional Enterprises, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 679818, citation number 1 item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 7, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 801 Main Street NW, Hanceville, AL.
