29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1) referenced by 29 CFR 1926.59: The employers did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees have not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area: At the project on or about August 16, 2013, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not provide effective information and training on portland cement. Employees did not know the hazards, personal protective equipment required, or first aid procedures in the event of contact. Employees used portland cement to set fence posts. THE NORTH PAC CORPORATION WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.1200(H)(1) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 110547320, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1C, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON OCTOBER 22, 2009, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT THE MARIANAS HIGH SCHOOL, BUILDING G, SAIPAN, MP 96950.
