29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a-154 Fort Lee Road, Bogota NJ: An employee accessing an extension ladder was exposed to fall hazards of approximately16ft as the ladder siderails did not extend 3ft above the upper landing surface. Janiec Roofing Inc was previously cited for serious violations of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 314675786, Citation # 1, Item # 1, issued on 4/30/2011 to a workplace located at 116 2nd Ave, Westwood NJ 07675 which became a final order on 06/01/2011.
