29 CFR 1915.507(b)(1): The portable fire extinguishers and hose systems were not selected, installed, inspected, maintained, and tested by the employer according to NFPA 10-2002 Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers: (a) A portable fire extinguisher mounted at the entrance to Engine Shop had not received an annual maintenance check since June 2008. (b) A portable fire extinguisher located in the office was completely discharged and had not received an annual maintenance check. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION
