29 CFR 1910.119(j)(4)(iii): The frequency of inspections and tests of process equipment was not consistent with applicable manufacturers' recommendations and good engineering practices, and more frequently if determined to be necessary by prior operating experience. A) Hydrogen Tank Area - On or prior to December 7, 2012, the frequency of inspections and tests was not determined for the hydrogen system process equipment, including but not limited to: -All associated liquid and gas piping, seals, flanges, valves, fittings, and supports -All leak detection and control instrumentation Momentive Performance Materials was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.119(j)(4)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313763666, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on August 24, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 260 Hudson River Rd. Waterford, NY 12188.
