29 CFR 1926.451(a)(6): Scaffolds shall be designed by a qualified person and shall be constructed and loaded in accordance with that design. Non-mandatory Appendix A to this subpart contains examples of criteria that will enable an employer to comply with paragraph (a) of this section. (a) Location 50 Network Drive, Burlington, MA: On or about 5/2/12, the employer failed to have a qualified person design and construct scaffolds. The Twin Pines / Teles Construction Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 315556688, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, issued on 9/30/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 5 Skilton Lane, Burlington, MA.
