29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about June 26, 2025, during the installation of roofing material at the job site located at 2079 Revely Ave., Lakewood, OH, 44107; the employer failed to ensure employees working on the roof of a single family home were protected from a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet by utilizing personal fall arrest systems/devices. MGE Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1589708, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on June 15, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 2684 Claythorne Rd, Shaker Heights, OH 44122. MGE Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1475112, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on July 1, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 238 West Smith Road, Medina, OH 44256.
