29 CFR 1926.502(d)(17): The attachment point of the body harness was not located in the center of the wearer's back near shoulder level, or above the wearer's head: a) On or about June 20, 2023, the bottom (leg) nylon straps of body harnesses were used as attachment points for fall protection on pitched roof surfaces. New Eagle Construction Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.502(d)(17) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1681313, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on August 23, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 40w313 Carl Sandburg, Saint Charles, IL 60175. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
