29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): The employer did not verify, through a written certification, that the required workplace hazard assessment had been performed: a) 156 West Harrisburg Avenue, Elizabethtown, PA 17022: On or about January 14, 2025, the employer did not prepare a written workplace personal protective equipment (PPE) hazard assessment that outlined the hazards present which necessitated the use of PPE for employees performing repair and maintenance tasks to the ammonia refrigeration system. b) 156 West Harrisburg Avenue, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 - Production Room: On or about January 14, 2025, the employer did not prepare a written workplace personal protective equipment (PPE) hazard assessment that outlined the hazards present which necessitated the use of PPE for employees performing cleaning and sanitation tasks utilizing hazardous substances. Frozen Food Development, Inc. and its successors were previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1736998, citation number 3, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on September 24, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 156 West Harrisburg Avenue, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
