29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Except as elsewhere required or permitted by Subpart S of Part 1910, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental and/or incidental contact by use of approved cabinets or by location in a room, vault, or similar enclosure that is accessible only to qualified persons. Instances include but are not limited to: a) The employer is failing to protect employees engaged in commercial bakery activities from electrical and fire hazards associated with accidental and/or incidental contact with the interior live wiring of electrical enclosures. This was most recently documented on or about August 17, 2024, at the Red Moline Guillotine in the facility located at 4657 G Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68117. Where the employer has employees accessing the interior of the energized Red Moline Guillotine Electrical Enclosure rated at 208v/20 AMP circuit, as means of starting/stopping and adjusting the various equipment features and functions necessary for operation. b) The employer is failing to protect employees engaged in commercial bakery activities from electrical and fire hazards associated with accidental and/or incidental contact with the interior live wiring of electrical enclosures. This was most recently documented on or about August 17, 2024 at the Red Proof Box Main Drive in the facility located at 4657 G Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68117. Where the employer has employees accessing the interior of the energized Red Proof Box Main Drive Electrical Enclosure rated at 480V/100 AMP circuit, as means of starting/stopping and adjusting the various equipment features and functions necessary for operation. c) The employer is failing to protect employees engaged in commercial bakery activities from electrical and fire hazards associated with accidental and/or incidental contact with the interior live wiring of electrical enclosures. This was most recently documented on or about August 17, 2024, at the Red Proof Box Controls in the facility located at 4657 G Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68117. Where the employer has employees accessing the interior of the energized Red Proof Box Controls Electrical Enclosure rated at 208V /20 AMP circuit, as means of starting/stopping and adjusting the various equipment features and functions necessary for operation.
