29 CFR 1926.1153(e)(2): Where respirator use is required by this section, the employer did not implement a respiratory protection program in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.134: a) Location: Mountain Gate Apartments - 7501 S. Utica Dr., Littleton, CO 80128. On or about July 16, 2024, and at times prior, the employer, Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing LLC, did not ensure a written respiratory protection program was effectively implemented when the use of Type CE Supplied Air Respirators was necessary as employees were required to engage in abrasive blasting of concrete surfaces in the enclosed breezeways and on landings of Building 19. This condition exposed employees to respirable crystalline silica dust and struck-by hazards from abrasive blast media. Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA Inspection 1705321, Citation 1, Item 4a, which was affirmed as a final order on May 2, 2024, with respect to the workplace located at 5105 DTC Pkwy. Greenwood Village, CO 80111.
