29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) Apple Roofing Solutions, LLC does not provide fall protection training to employees who are exposed to fall hazards greater than six feet while conducting roofing activities. This was most recently observed on May 28, 2024, at a residential worksite located at 2408/2410 Canter Lane, Green Bay, WI 54304, when three employees, who were not provided fall protection training by the employer, were exposed to a fall hazards of nine feet and greater while removing old shingles and installing new shingles on a residential building having a steep pitch roof without fall protection. b) Apple Roofing Solutions, LLC does not provide fall protection training to employees who are exposed to fall hazards greater than six feet while conducting roofing activities. Apple Roofing Solutions LLC was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.503(b)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1561429, citation number 3, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 11, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 904/908 Jefferson Street in Algoma, Wisconsin. Apple Roofing Solutions LLC was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.503(b)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1531887, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 11, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 218 Crestview Avenue, Neenah, WI 54956.
