Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: In the service and detail department at 865 Quaker Hwy. Uxbridge MA 01569: On or about May 17, 2024, at times prior, and at times after, hazard communication training was not provided to inform employees of the hazards associated with chemicals used in their work areas. Camping World RV Sales, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection number 1586032, citation number 1 item number 2-b and was affirmed as a final order on August 3, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 6440 Scully Drive Eau Claire, WI 54701 Although the Area Office held a conference with the employer prior to issuing this citation and the others now being issued in this inspection, the issuance of these citations does not represent the end of the inspection. The inspection is still open, due to the employer's failure to comply with the subpoenas that OSHA issued and served during the inspection. The Acting Secretary of Labor has filed a petition for subpoena enforcement in the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts, as part of which the Asking Secretary has asked that the statute of limitations for OSHA to issue citations be tolled.
