29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6): The basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of this section, was not provided by the employer in any written or oral format, to employees who wear respirators when such use is not required by this section or by the employer: (a)On or about May 13, 2024, and at times prior, the employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of this section, in any written or oral format, to employees who wore the half-face air purifying respirators while conducting welding operations. This condition exposed employees to respiratory hazards involving welding activities.
