29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. a.) On or about April 18, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that the eyewash station located in the Soiled Utility 200 Hall was accessible to Housekeeping employees using corrosive cleaners such as Spartan Super HDQ Neutral and Spartan Clean on the Go Acid Bathroom & Shower Cleaner 7, as the station was blocked and not available for immediate emergency use.
