29 CFR 1910.119(j)(2): The employer shall establish and implement written procedures to maintain the on-going integrity of process equipment: On or about August 14, 2024; at a facility located at 10953 Wisconsin 54 in Plover, WI; the employer did not establish written procedures for the inspection of insulated and non-insulated ammonia vessels and pipping. The employer relied upon third-party contractors to carry out nondestructive testing (NDT) and corrosion under insulation (CUI) inspections of ammonia refrigeration piping and vessels. The employer failed to establish written procedures for the NDT and CUI inspections as part of the employer's Mechanical Integrity Program.
