29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer did not ensure that employee(s) required to use a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed the appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT): At 18594 Hwy KK in Boss, MO 65440 (Refinery) - On or about 27 March 2024, 34 employees of The Buick Resource Recycling Facility (BRRF) DBA Doe Run did not receive appropriate fit testing when required to wear a tight-fitting respirator for protection from lead exposure. The fit tests were conducted without specific sample tubing in the mask resulting in inaccurate fit test results.
