29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: Location: Facility processing room and packaging room On or about March 21, 2024, employees were exposed to caught in hazards while using Anko forming and filling machine due to the forming mold head being unguarded exposing employees to an in running nip point. The Chinese Spaghetti Factory Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1656265, citation number 3, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 19, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 83 Newmarket Square, Boston MA. The Chinese Spaghetti Factory Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1439101, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 4, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 83 Newmarket Square, Boston MA.
