29 CFR 1926.150(a)(1): The employer did not develop and maintain a fire protection program to be followed throughout all phases of construction and demolition work, and/or did not provide for the firefighting equipment as specified in this subpart: a) 382-393 Nicker Jack Way, Chatham Bay, Dover, DE 19901: On or about February 5, 2024, employees were exposed to fire hazards while working with combustible liquids such as gasoline to fill a generator with no fire extinguishers present on site. The Road Contractor Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.150(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1686108, citation number 01002, item number 4, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/2/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 116 Main Street, Bethesda United Methodist Church, Middletown, DE 19709.
