29 CFR 1910.37(a)(4):Safeguard(s) designed to protect employees during an emergency (e.g., sprinkler systems, alarm systems, fire doors, exit lighting), were not in proper working order at all times: (a) 156 West Harrisburg Ave, Elizabethtown, PA; Freezer #1 - On or about October 4, 2023, the emergency exit sign at the exit which was blocked by two pallets with attached emergency lighting was smashed and inoperable which exposed employees to potential ammonia and life safety hazards. Frozen Food Development was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.305(b)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1558606, citation number 1, item number 6 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/01/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 156 West Harrisburg Avenue Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. No abatement certification or documentation required.
