29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used. Crossbraces were used as a means of access: On or about October 11, 2023, employees performing residential construction activities were exposed to fall hazards when working on a multi-tier scaffold system without being provided with a safe means of egress. Federico Gutierrez dba., FG Masonry was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1384052, citation number one (1), item number two (2) and was affirmed as a final order on May 13, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 12616 Hanover Court in Farmers Branch, TX.
