29 CFR 1910.265(c)(18)(i): Standards. Construction, operation, and maintenance of conveyors shall be in accordance with American National Standard B20.1-1957, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6. Section 602 Pulleys, Sprockets, Sheaves, Drums, Blocks: On or about July 27, 2023, at the establishment located at 10894 State Hwy 70 East Arbor Vitae, Wisconsin; employees working in the Stacker Building were exposed to caught-in hazards and ingoing nip-points from an unguarded chain conveyor. The nip point was located at an employee work station where boards are transferred from the conveyor to the lift conveyor before the grader. Pukall Lumber Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.265(c)(18)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1374648, citation number 1, item number 9, and was affirmed as a final order on August 8, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 10894 State Hwy 70 East, Arbor Vitae, WI 54568.
