29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) On or about and at times prior to July 25, 2023, at the previously addressed inspection site, employees exposed to falls while framing and sheathing the roof of a multi-story residential family house while working at heights greater than 6 feet above lower levels were not provided a training program to recognize the hazards of falls and how to minimize fall hazards. Forest City Framers, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1649180, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 04-06-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4938 Championship Circle, Westport, WI 53597.
