29 CFR 1926.452(w)(5): Scaffolds were not stabilized to prevent tipping during movement: a) Worksite - On or about June 29, 2023, a mobile baker scaffold (Metaltech, Model: I-CISC) was not stabilized and tipped over when a worker in the process of painting was climbing up an approximately 12 foot tall extension ladder (Werner) positioned on top of the scaffold. Monsey Premier Painters was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.452(w)(5), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1633930, citation number 1, item number 3a, and was affirmed as a final order on 6/1/23 with respect to a workplace located at 13 Van Buren Drive, Monroe, NY 10950.
