29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) At 556 Governor Treutlen Circle, Pooler, GA 31322, on or about June 23, 2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards greater than six feet, in that the employer allowed his employees to perform framing and decking activities, at a height of 20 feet, without using fall protection. Mejia Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1635368, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on May 3, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 66 Saussy Road, Port Wentworth, GA 31407. Mejia Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1340014, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 6, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 154 Ristona Dr., Lot 291, Savannah, GA 31419.
