29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): The employer did not provide portable fire extinguishers and mount, locate, and identify them so that they are readily accessible to employees without subjecting the employees to possible injury. (a) Production Floor/Chemical Storage Area: On or about June 2, 2023, and times prior, a class ABC portable fire extinguisher was not identifiable or accessible as it was placed on a wall between and behind electrical power cords/cables and hazardous chemical 55-gallon drums, exposing employees to fire hazards and injuries.
