29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. a- Building 1, Westampton NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazard, up to and in excess of 21 feet 4 inches to the ground surface below, when walking and working from a pump jack scaffold's walking/working surface that was not supplied with end stops nor a screen that ran the full length of the walking/working surface. At the time of the inspection these workers were either wearing full body harnesses that were not connected to an anchor with a lanyard, wearing full body harnesses that were connected to a pump jack scaffold's post brace with a lanyard or not wearing a full body harness. Condition observed on or about 04/25/23. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
