Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(ii): The employer did not certify that periodic inspections of the energy control procedures had been performed: a) Hensa Stmp, Inc., various production areas, on or about January 19th, 2023 and times prior thereto: Employees were conducting service and maintenance on various pieces of equipment throughout the facility. The employer did not maintain certification of the periodic inspections for the lockout/tagout procedures for the equipment. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
