29 CFR 1926.652(b): The slopes and configurations of sloping and benching systems were not in accordance with the requirement options of 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1), (b)(2), (b)(3), or (b)(4): On or about March 14, 2023, employees were exposed to caught-in or between hazards while working in an excavation without adequate cave-in protection. The Northtex Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1496098, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 01-26-2021, with respect to a workplace located at Porter Rd.
