29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6): The employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format to employees who wear respirators when such use was not required by the employer: a) On February 23, 2023 and at times prior to; employees operating forklifts, performing housekeeping duties, and operating bagging machinery to include the Autoline and Manual Line, voluntarily wore N95 masks to prevent inhaling nuisance dust from agricultural soil mixes, fertilizers, potting mixes, decorative barks, decorative rocks and peat moss.
