29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed: (a) The employer is failing to protect employees from serious fire, shock, and burn hazards. This was most recently documented on January 10, 2023, at the worksite located at 299 Extension Street, Verona, Missouri. Unused openings in the electrical cabinet located in building v-10 1/2 were open and not effectively closed. BCP Ingredients, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1526237, citation number 1, item number 9, and was affirmed as a final order on October 27, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 299 Extension Street, Verona, Missouri.
